Let Pynchon be Pynchon

No doubt, much of interest to be said re labor in
Pynchon. But we've never gotten any of it from this
"Terrance" and I doubt we ever will, based on the
track record of tease-and-disappear. All hat, no
cattle. A clouded concept or two, but no effective
way to articulate anything new about them,
unfortunately. It's kind of fun to see him keep
popping up to wave that flag, and see a few salutes go
up for, apparently, old times sake, then fades away
again. Harmless, really. The way the same TV
commercial keeps coming around, reminding you one had
high hopes for the product but were disappointed,
growing increasingly annoyed to hear the same
overblown claims.
