I guess I wouldn't mind use/abuse of the "recluse" angle as much if  
all spades were described as such (as spades that is). I don't read  
much of the mainstream press, but I can't recall any recent book  
features that began with "Author X, the ratchet-jawed media whore  
most well known for eating a pound of Oprah's poo to get five minutes  
of well-timed exposure on her spotless white couch, has recently  
blahblahblah..."
