Penguin Press/Viking - Error?

I just noticed something rather strange on the copyright page of AtD: The
dustjacket, title page etc. of AtD of course state that the novel is
published by Penguin Press, but on the copyright page it says - more than
once - that the novel is published by Viking/Viking Penguin. Penguin Press
isn't mentioned at all on the copyright page.
Initially I thought that Penguin Press might be a division of Viking, which
is in itself a division of the Penguin Group, but upon checking other titles
by Penguin Press (e.g. Zadie Smith's On Beauty and Zafon's The Shadow of the
Wind) in Amazon's book search feature, I found that they all say Penguin
Press instead of Viking on the copyright page, as could be expected,
There might be some strange dealings going on in the Penguin Group, but I
suspect that the substitution of Penguin Press with Viking in AtD may simply
be an error on the one page that is not supposed to have any errors. They
may have used an old copyright page from a Viking book as their templet, and
forgotten to replace Viking with Penguin Press.
Does anyone have any insider information that could explain this?
