Sorry, John, I meant my comment as a joke. Sounded
like the other guy was ready to ask for his money back
since Pynchon dared to use a word more than once.
I see no problem with using the word more than once,
it's not like the rich chocolatey goodness all
evaporates the first time you crack it open.
Maybe that's one of those "tuneful" words Pynchon was
talking about in his letter to the editor, that like a
chimpanzee he just can't resist.
