I have a red one that came from Amazon.com on the day
of publication, and a green one that I got at Moe's
Books on Telegraph Ave. at 12 am that day (an
independent, Jay- FYI, also in the past three months
I've bought first editions of all but a couple of the
books Pynchon blurbed, all through independent
booksellers).
Also have a UK ARC, bound in black paper with white
lettering on the cover, and a couple of UK first
edition hardcovers (black with a dustjacket similar to
the US edition although the paper's not as nice).
I figure by the time I'm ready to go, they might be
worth handing down to the lad.
