Point is, you KNOW what's going to happen, so ... cf.
Mason & Dixon vis a vis The Civil War ... but with
AtD, you (apparently, I don't think I'll ever be able
to stay awake long enough to finish the novel, I don't
think I'll be Allowed to) get the aftermath ...
