I'll try to address some of these...

This a difficult one to start with though... how tall are you Joe?
I'm 6'2" and have never noticed this.  (It's difficult to stand up on
the top deck of some of the busses though)

There's a fantastic live scene.  No college or public radio stations
so no equivalent of WFMU or KCRW, but with broadband.. who cares?

No unions will be involved either way.

Not fair.  This was true in the 70s, but London is a great place to
eat now.  I'm just back from this:
