Were there men in GR? Any characters we recognize as men? I don't think so.

I doubt that the Feminist readings of GR that argue for equal time on stage 
are worth very much.

There are no black people in Woody's films, no real white women in 
Morrison's fiction no good black men in Walker's books no non-police Irish 
in bugs bunny cartoons....
