I agree on Picture This--the idea of it is more than the novel can
duplicate.
I actually like Closing Time--I thought it was a real bad idea at the start
to write a sequel to Catch 22 but it's end of the line Coney Island reveries
that connected with me, pbly due to listening to my dad and older relations
about the old days, growing up there in Brooklyn. the priest who makes
water, heavy water that is. that's funny
