It's not a proud day for anyone, although a red letter day for holocaust
deniers perhaps.
that said, holocaust denying must be one of the most stupid crimes
going...
...while Irving has a long history of this kind of thing, surely his
greatest "crime" is to be a bad historian.
Reading an Irving book is not compulsory and few people choose to...
...contrast that with Japanese high school history textbooks which are
compulsory for millions and yet seek to whitewash the history of the
1930s and 1940s
Also seems a little weird to me that the country that spawned Adolf
Hitler (not to mention Jorg Haider in more recent times ) should be so
keen to prosecute foreigners for denying racist crimes
