Perhaps I missed a comment to this effect, but I see it as kind of delicious
irony. Irving charged a couple of scholars with libel. If one wants to get
really huffy about it, I think libel laws coud be considered a stain on the
concept of "absolute" free speech....

He could have done this in pretty much any country outside Germany and
Austria - even the US...
