I recall asking if anyone had a source for that back in February, but
I never got a reply, and the issue apparently slipped through the
manifold cracks in the Wikipedia editing process.  Little did I know
the bad blood which lurked behind that innocuous statement. . . .

Maybe someone could change the second "reportedly" to "reputedly"?
I'm sure that would make the whole situation so much better!  :-/
