I read Just a Couple of Days a few years back and liked it quite a
bit, I'd definitely reccomend checking it out. If you feel like it,
www.justacoupleofdays.com is his Web site and has his email address,
so if you read it and have a question or something you can ask him
(and he will respond). What kind of writer is he? Well, he's pretty
funny, but thoughtful too I'd say... maybe a decent comparison would
be something like a humor-laden White Noise...
I don't know what's up with Bast Books though... I googled them and
their Web page seems to just re-direct to justacoupleofdays.com - the
name is familiar but I can't think of any other books off the top of
my head that they might have done.
