Gilliam's said he'd do it (and c'mon, look at Twelve Monkeys if you doubt he
could do it!); HBO were interested in the treatment for it at some point (or
so i've heard) - but I doubt they'd give it the finances needed while having
'Rome' on their hands. But there is hope, still......
....I personally want to see the biographies (a word I can't type anymore
without thinking about Dos Passos) and the 'Tales of the Black Freighter'
intact in any treatment anyone does.
