Call my observation naysaying if you want. I think I'm just pointing
out the obvious. I'm sure I'll participate, and I'll definitely be
reading it as soon as it reaches my mailbox. I just don't think in
depth synthesis will be possible on the first read.
Of course we'll have all the other novels to relate it to. But AtD
should be its own book, and reliance on his past works for
interpretation is somewhat suspect.
