The don't read along, David.  For my part, I've been
deleting you an Paul and Doug apparently going at it,
saving me the time, effort and anxiety I'd normally
have expended getting into the fray myself, so ...

I expect, though, that we wouldn't even think of
starting in in earnest 'til after Christmas (me, I
DON'T get a Christmas break, but ...) or New Year's
Day at the every earliest.  And I'll have a barrage of
annotations made along the way to unleash as the
opportunity arises.  Use 'em or lose 'em, so ...

But like we're NOT going to discuss the new novel
here?  How many of you naysayers have been able to
resist doing so, and it's not even out yet?  But if I
have to do it myself ... and, yes, that's a threat ...
