ATD: critical reception WAS Re: Beware the Time.com review

from the reviews I've read and just speculating from that I'd say AtD is
probably not a good place to start for newbies
I wonder if Pynchon has been reading his Harry Keeler--AtD sounds alot like
Keeler's weird fictions
