Pynchon vs. Pynchon/bashing reviewers

The reviewers who base a review on a less than serious
reading, or not having finished the book, deserve to
be criticized negatively for offering overarching
conclusions about the book or what it says about
Pynchon's carer. 

Editors who assign this review to a known
Pynchon-hater  are just stirring up shit, and those
reviews aren't to be taken seriously. 

Serious reviews will be taken seriously here. They
always have been.

"We" include fans and Pynchon scholars who write about
Pynchon's work in a nuanced way.  I don't think it's
quite accurate to call it a "fan list".
