Pynchon vs. Pynchon/bashing reviewers

Pretty difficult to take Pynchon seriously without
spending the kind of time and attention that his texts
receive in this forum. 

The notion that Pynchon-l is all or only about
uncritical Pynchon worship is as nonsensical as the
idea that a reviewer who doesn't read the book should
get a pass if she pisses on the book.  Sorry, no can
do.
