I don't agree with your assessment, Pollack. The
comment I made about ATD that triggered this thread,
in no way reflected a "personal agenda" or whatever
nonsense was alleged, and was easily identifiable as
interpretation.  Insulting me instead of addressing
the comment was aggressive, and generalizing this
attack to cast aspersion on the pynchonwiki was
uncalled for.

I could personally care less if you sign up to
contribute to pynchonwiki or not, it remains to be
seen if you have anything of lasting interest to say
about ATD or Pynchon more generally.  Maybe you will,
I hope so, but based on the comments you've made so
far, I doubt it, to me you sound like just another
p-list whiner looking to score points in a pissing
contest.  And if that's not true, I challenge you to
comment on the book in future instead of on me - but
from what I've seen so far, I doubt you'll be able to
keep that focus.

Talk about whatever you want on pynchon-l, that's what
it's' here for, but if you want feedback on the wiki
to be taken seriously, I suggest you make your
suggestions about the wiki at the wiki itself, where
the people who are actually spending time and effort
to build it for your convenience.  Surely you can see
the practicality of this suggestion.  If you don't
care to take the time to make your concerns heard
where it counts, you're just posing in one venue, not
contributing at the other.

In fact I suspect we may have reached the limit of
capable p-listers willing to contribute in a
meaningful way to this new resource, the folks who
want to help seem to be over there helping, while the
folks who just want to whine about it are doing a good
job of that here on Pynchon-l, as usual.  You can lead
a horse to water....
