Tanner on naming in TCOL49

I agree totally and I think Mr. Tanner really missed the mark here. 
(Where's he from,  Yale? -  the Maas'  live in Southern Cal.)  The 
way I read Mucho Maas' name was with Spanish meanings.     I also had 
the idea that MM  did "too much"  LSD the way he did "too much" 
everything.   He shaves too much and I even pictured him as being 
quite fat.  (Is this textually based? - I don't remember.)
