So Morrison's 'Beloved' has been chosen as the best American novel in 25
yrs, and Coetzee's 'Disgrace' as the best Commonwealth novel in the same
period, making Martin Amis's 'Money' with its second place the best British
novel in the same period.
Beloved Money, and Disgrace.

P.S. I haven't read Coetzee's and Amis's books, but somehow I thought there
have been more important works in the Commonwealth. Both Morrison and
Coetzee are Nobel prize laureates, a mere coincidence?
