I find it hard to choose between Time Out of Mind and Love & Theft. TOOM at 
its best has the most really great tracks - Not Dark Yet, Tryin' to Get to 
Heaven, Highlands, etc. - but L&T is, arguably, more consistent.

Yeah, it's always mentioned that L&T came out that day which, in the US, it 
did. But papers in the UK often repeat that 'fact' as well, even though 
Dylan's album came out over here on the Monday, ie. 10th of September. I 
started a new job that day, got the album at lunch time, came home and 
listened with my wife, loved it, went to work next day and everything 
changed.
