Polar Express is an example of CG (Computer Graphics) animation gone
crap.  Unfortunately this is the rule today, not the exception.
Machine power has replaced human talent for the most part.  Not that
CG is bad per se.  It's just that it takes conscious human talent to
make it do good things, like in Toy Story.  Mostly today CG is used to
downsize the human talent need/budget.
