That's what it's called, and I didn't invent the term.

I think you're impatient, re the next steps in the
marketing program for ATD.  When books are in stores,
or nearly so, I expect to see advertisements in
newspapers, magazines and other media, at a time when
they will serve to drive customers into retail outlets
to buy the book, and I expect to see an ATD web site
go up at that time, too.  Until then, I expect the
publisher will continue with this low-profile
buzz-generating campaign, and continue to smile as
customers pre-order the book at Amazon.com

So, keep your shirt on! The show's just starting.
