Bible in Pynchon Re: ATD at the Frankfurter Buchmesse

I agree with the folks who see the Bible as a great
work of literature, to be read and enjoyed as such, as
well as to be used by believers for sacred purposes. 

Hard to escape it in Pynchon, beginning with the title
of his most popular book, straight outta Genesis.
