Yes it was quite sickening to see Pynchon-l turned
into a forum for the likes of "Morris" to cheer while
innocent people died under American bombs, while 
"jbor" used Pynchon-l as a forum to call critics of
Bush allies of Osama, to argue Pynchon as a Bush
foreign policy supporter, even going to the extreme,
as reported here, fabricate an online source (changing
the Wikipedia entry) in a misguided attempt to
undercut the Playboy Japan interview in which Pynchon
seemed to criticize Bush.

Typical of "Morris" now to lie and deny what he said,
too, when his words are there in the archives.  Like a
kid who's old enough to be embarrassed by a lack of
toilet training but still enough of a little kid to
think that somehow, magically, Mom's not going to
notice the shit in his drawers.
