Why NOT "A screaming comes across the sky"?

	There's an artist who comes as close as any to writing masterpieces  
in the plural.  The only one of his books I can't abide is Invitation  
to a Beheading -- which he wrote in a 3-week one draft god knows how  
many cigarettes blaze of inspiration.  He doesn't do Kafka very well  
imo.

	I'm a bit leery of P's response to the question of being N's student  
-- he didn't understand much because of the heavy accent.  This was  
addressed here just the other day with an audio link I couldn't get  
to.  What was the consensus?
