New Mark Danielewski book out

[Ya Sam]

Are you so pessimistic about the state of contemporary lit? Of course 
Pynchon IS the ultimate source of anything that is worth a long wait. 
However, in the, say, 1930s for some it would have been Joyce, whose 
work-in-progress would have been the last great work to look forward to. It 
is inevitable that another really great writer will appear sooner or later. 
My only worry is that he or she hasn't been born yet...
