Sorry, that was my linguistic incompetence then, because I did think that 
'lurking' had a negative connotation.

I hope that will not be interpreted as my attempt to argue with you while 
you don't want to (it inevitably will) but I just want to emphasise that 
IMHO argument on any matter is great, and I really appreciate it when people 
disagree with me and offer their own opinion. So, let's put it this way, I 
am in favour of the second definition of the word 'argument' and hope there 
will be few who will disagree with me:
