The book is great. [SPOILER ALERT ] It's about a square who lives in a 2-dimensional, authoritarian society. He's visited by a sphere, who helps him deduce the properties of the 3-dimensional world. When the square attempts to explain his ideas to the Flatland elite, he becomes a heretic. It's a short book, half story, half philosophical treatise. The trailer sucks.
