Lew, alongside Neville and Nigel try to figure out "what in hell's 
going on here," an apt question for the Tarot among some Anasazi 
ruins near Dolores Valley, Colorado. Lew's not familiar with Tarot. 
The mood is portentious, and the indications are paradoxical: the 
Hanging Man. A meteor shower, ghosts, and a ride south to New Mexico 
to catch a train. And a train ride through a suggestive mystic 
landscape with doom nearby. Before you know it they are in Galveston 
ready to catch a boat back to England. The N's convince Lew to stow 
away with some cute jokey repartee -- which is very lucky because a 
135 mph hurricane devastates the town and takes out 6000 people the 
day after they're gone, which gives Lew the shivers.
