ATDTDA (7): 196-197 plotline

Pynchon is getting very cinematic here, with the short cuts between 
scenes -- mebbe even more like a storyboard (graphic novel, anyone?) 
than the movie itself.

This is a very short scene, less than half a page. Webb is 
face-to-face with a Company inspector accusing him of theft. He says 
he's been set up. But before we can discover whether this encounter 
is slapstick, he is cold-cocked. (Presumably by Sloat?)
