I've read   (in this order)

The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle (the best of the lot and Kafka is probably 
second best)
A Wild Sheep Chase
Norwegian Wood
Underground (nonfiction)
Kafka on the Shore

I enjoy Murakami;  he's a great story-teller.  But Pynchon does a lot 
more than tell stories.
