Here's a weblog demonstration of how Wikipedia entries grow and develop over time, which some may find interesting from a research perspective.  
 
The topic in question is the "heavy metal umlaut." The guy who explains this discusses the editing process involved in wiki-based sites, which is quite fascinating.
