Through some strange, nigh unto miraculous twist of fate (or
whatever), I managed to finish up here EARLY for once, DESPITE losing
a couple of days to, well, having to do stuff along the way.  Not, of
course, as if I, much less we, much less anyone, am/are/is every
really "finished" with ANYTHING in Those Pynchonian Texts, but ...
well, first off, I believe Paul N. still has some mat'l to cover as
well, and, hopefully, I left y'all with at LEAST as many questions as
Pynchon, Against the Day let ME with (and then some).  Thanks as
always, to TRP for having written the damn bookk(s) in the first
place, for Murthy and Oliver for maintaing The List, and, in
particular here, to Tim S. for having organized (and, hopefully,
continuing to organize--I'll put in a request for the next round
soonly, though, as I recall, I think we're tagteaming and/or
cagematching a section with Paul N. in the not too distant future)
AtDDtA, to Paul N. for keeping it in order, to Quail (not to mention
Dr. Daw), Tim Ware, Michel Ryckx, Otto Sell and Doug Millison for
their respective and eminently respectable online resources, to Profs.
Krafft and Duyfhuizen for Pynchon Notes on and offline, and to (and
here's where, if I haven't done so already, I'll no doubt miss
someone, but ...) Tore, Keith, Thomas, David, Jasper and The Dude, in
particular, though hardly exculsively (hedging my bets ...), for
inspiration this time 'round.  Thanks!

But, hey, we DO have a couple/three days before we begin officially
the next section, there are plenty of snacks and beverages left, so
seeing as it's the weekend (even if I, at least, have to be at work
again tomorrow morning), feel free to stay.  Crash on the couch, if
need be.  I'll put out some fresh towels ...

It's a rental--we can trash the place!
