I was also unable to locate a copy on an internet archive (though that was a great idea, Keith), so I am squirreling my way through the archives, digging up the posts, and planting links on the M&D Wiki: http://masondixon.pynchonwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Dinn%27s_Notes

I added this somewhat awkwardly worded introduction (which I hope is reasonably accurate) to this lengthy list of links; I am open to/actively seeking corrections to this introduction/explanation:

"Starting in May of 1997, a group reading and discussion of Mason & Dixon was conducted via e-mail on the Pynchon-L. The project was organized by Andrew Dinn (hence the name of this page, Dinn's Notes), who divided the text into 26 (?) "blocks"--labeled "MDMD(x)"--of approximately three chapters each. A rotating cast of Pynchon-L members took turns posting a summary, commentary, and a set of notes/questions for each block (which I am in the processing of listing below); these posts were followed by a e-mailed discussion by the group-at-large; this broader discussion can be found by searching the Pynchon-L Archives."> > Andrew posted each host's offerings on his website which I do not> > believe is active but might be findable on one of the online archives> > search engines. (I tried to find it a while back and came up empty.)
