Leave it to me to put my digital foot in my digital mouth, and to Paul
to catch me on it.  But I'm a mean, cynical, bitter old man
(internally, if not quite yet chronologcally, though I suspect I've
burned up at least more of my life expectancy than many here, at any
rate), and tales of young intellectuals not quite in love hit perhaps
a bit too close to home with me.  And believe it or not, I'm NOT one
to wear what little, uh, literaritude I have onb my sleeve, so ...
