I tried for too long last night to 'work out" Bopfli-
Spazzoletta.......you must have seen the word Boplfi appear
in some books from the later 1800s.........

Im knowing no Italian, and suspecting TRP of verbal leg-pulling
not a buried allusion here...keep reading this as 

bop-fly Spazz-a-lotta.....
