Sorry, hello,
if the meter of time is measiured by the fixed/programmed intervals of an
upwardly counting ordinal gadget, going to infinity, then it would have to
know the time signature of eternity, and that base system would be ever..
slowing.. down? Or speeding up? Help me out people.How would the chums have
envisioned it? It would have gears, a compass, .. and still, it would only
get them almost there... Love the heart metaphor in the subject line as a
reminder here. That beat is slowing down? Or speeding up..  

And the bit about sentient rock-lichens.. isn't that the sound of an ingine
or motor, being fed with gas and oil? but much much later. Much much.
Sounds and looks funny. Is that spelled right?
