I'm thinking also of "Down So Long" where Gnossos makes a grand and
silly gesture (opiate suppository, wasn't it?)

Are these silly gestures (Yossarian flipping the bird instead of giving
the thumbs-up, Roger Mexico imitating the centerpiece of a fountain,
Jacob Horner avoiding complete atrophy by nonsensical rules) po-mo,
Dadaistic transformations in a mellower direction of propaganda of the
deed? Mexico spraying pee on the board meeting is funny, spraying
bullets wouldn't be...
Led Zeppelin's movie "The Song Remains the Same" starts with a
scene where they do just that, but the targets spurt grape soda
or something.
