You betcha, though I'm suprised that Pynchonoid didn't leap 
on this association first (though he might have on some earlier post).
But I also think that Pynchon's paranoia is the paranoia of the adept,
of someone who is hearing or seeing (or envisioning, or 
dreaming or scrying. . . . ) stuff that, although measurable on some 
plane, rarely registers on the radar of mere mortals although it is the 
basic stuff---the coin of the realm--of the psychic or mystic.
