Nice catch, Heikki, and it would certainly not be the only children's book 
to give a nod to The Crying of Lot 49. In book six of Lemony Snicket's 
richly allusive 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' ('The Ersatz Elevator'), 
one of the kids is reading an auction catalogue and notices that Lot 49 is 
"a valuable postage stamp."
