does AtD solid rock?

Yes he is trying to say more
 and does
not only thematically, but also the
prose is way more mature and thus doesn’t make one’s head hurt like GR.

I can’t look at the two books as being anything alike
GR is less of a story
and far more didactic, AtD (to me) is the opposite, but obviously still
quite thematic compared to usual literature.

GR hit me harder, but that’s because I was not prepared for what the book
contains
with AtD I expected something like GR and was happily surprised to
be giving a crap about his characters.

Keith,

I'll vote B.......

And I'll bring up another Icelandic refraction with which to compare the
two.

(Admittedly, I haven't yet finished my remedial reading of GR....but I want
to ask ALL)

isn't TRP trying to say, SHOW, encompass much more in AtD than (even in) GR?

So many themes upon themes, upon insights, notions and possiblities? don't
we think he wants GR to be--in some way--encompassed---by AtD? (that ending,
say?)

Whether he succeeds at this........is (one of) the questions.

This line of thought could bring some clarity to the various
viewpoints re: the GR/AtD relationship.

Is AtD

(a) homoousian (of same substance and essence)
(b) homoiousian (of similar, but not identical substance/essence)
(c) homoian (similar but distinctly inferior)
or
(d) heteroousian (different substance/essence)

vis-à-vis GR?
