Yeah, I was also positively surprised when I looked through Boxall's book,
but then I picked up a copy of the book lying next to it, 501 Must-Read
Books, and my brief elation was replaced with the usual frustration: Not a
single one of Pynchon's novels merited inclusion in this book (as opposed
to, say, DeLillo's Underworld and Franzen's The Corrections - both fine
books, but COME ON!)
