Can't speak for Robin, but I've been reading my copy very carefully. I have, 
however, taken a lot of notes and underlined a lot of sections in the book. 
Being something of a book-fetishist, normally I wouldn't do something like 
that with a first edition, but since the hardcover is cheaper these days 
than the paperback edition will be, and since I have five other immaculate 
copies of the first edition, I decided to overcome my aversion to writing in 
first editions - mistakenly believing that the hardcover could function as a 
good, durable working copy of the book. But look what happened!
