Atdtda[4]: Between 2 sections

I think it's a publisher's technique for indicating a "new" section of a 
chapter when the previous section ends at the bottom of a page, lest the 
reader think the next page is a continuation of the section s/he's just 
read.

Notice that the first few words of a new section are also in caps.

At least P didn't get stuck using astericks, which he allegedly hates as 
chapter dividers.
