A vote for Nader in New York, California or other Blue states was a vote for Nader, which was a vote against the centrist Democratic Party. As we learned in 2000, winning the popular vote was irrelevant -- by not fighting for a Florida recount, Gore and his fellow Democrats made that clear. As a New Yorker, whose vote will automatically go to the Democratic candidate in 2008(as the presidency probably will), I refuse to vote for anyone who doesn't support 1.Immediate withdrawal from Iraq and 2.Single-payer national healthcare.
