The previous section ends with Sloat riding 'up the trail,' while
this section begins with Frank gliding down to Golden then down
further to Denver. The first leg of this journey is upon the 'winds
of inertia,' a mirror image of the phrase, 'winds of change.' The
second; on 'the electric':

This rail line was originally constructed in 1892 as the Denver,
Lakewood & Golden, a steam powered line. By 1909 a new owner, the
Denver and Intermountain, had taken control of the line, electrified
the passenger service and purchased new rolling stock, which included
No. 25. In 1914 this line was acquired by the Denver Tramway Company
who operated Denver's streetcar system until abandonment. http://

The previous section contained a real encounter between Deuce and a
(likely Vibe Corp) rep accusing him of not killing Webb and an
imagined encounter between a (likely Vibe Corp) rep and Sloat, with
Sloat agreeing that Deuce did not kill Webb.

This section opens with Vibe Corp reps not so directly feeling out
Webb's son Frank for something, Frank assumes it to be suitable
employment.
