[625.33-36] Most of the residents had never seen a Dirigible, but there were
a few with no shyness about describing it to the others. "It will come to
deliver us from this place ..."
Cf. Alonzo Meatman's "most extraordinary offer of Deliverance" on 413:
"Chick had a momentary vision of a ship's passageway somewhere ..." etc. And
then, on 424: "So, once again, the familiar dwindling dot in the sky."
